Product Marketing Executive
Our Client:
We are currently working with a fast-growing software product company which specialises in virtualization/ application/ cloud services monitoring solutions. They are looking to hire a dynamic Product Marketing Executive for their technical engineering and marketing team. The ideal candidate is one seeking an opportunity for career growth and the chance to grow within an entrepreneurial and innovative organization.
The Role:
To be successful in this role, you should have 4-6 years of years of real-world experience implementing/working with modern IT technologies including cloud and web applications, microservices and containers, virtualization platforms, virtual desktops and so on. You are able to work in different areas - from creating product briefs and presentations to writing blogs, training of internal users and partners and conceiving videos and demos to demonstrate the value and capabilities of our products to customers.
The Responsibilities & Requirements:
This is a hands-on, technical position. The key responsibilities for this position are:
* Position our products to customers looking for virtualization / application / cloud services monitoring solutions.
* Create brochures and data sheets highlighting new capabilities being introduced in our products
* Create corporate and sales power point presentations that present the customer story in a succinct and impressive manner
* Evaluate other competing products in the market; prepare and maintain competitive briefs on key competitors and provide training to sales/pre-sales teams
* Train internal users, prospective customers and partners on our products
* Work with the marketing team to create blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, etc. and create compelling material for webinars
Requirements:
* Four plus years of experience working in cloud, application development/optimization, containers, and other modern IT technologies.
* Must be interested in working in a customer facing role.
* Must be interested in learning new technologies and applying them to solve real world problems.
* Experience managing projects would be a plus
* Understanding of Java/J2EE technologies and web applications is a plus.
* Exposure to Citrix, VMware, and other virtualization technologies is required.
* Must be ambitious, competitive, energetic; should be a results-oriented team player.
