Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a leading global provider of digital imaging products and solutions across various application markets, including packaging, display, publishing, building, textiles, etc. Due to increased prospects in the region, they're looking to hire a Sales Development Manager to grow their business in Southeast Asia.

The Responsibilities:

* Accountable for all direct sales activities, from lead generation to close, as well as channel sales through training and supporting new and existing referral agents and re-seller partners
* Oversee and execute structured sales activities for existing and new B2B companies within the Packaging industry; Folding carton, Flexible Packaging and Labels as well as some corrugated packaging markets
* Build strategic market development and expansion plans that is based on growing from the top tier companies in the region
* Create specific regional plans to ensure net new annual bookings growth targeting the 25 largest packaging companies across Southeast Asia
* Develop and foster existing accounts to maximize reference potential
* Achieve desired "product sales mix" and "buying account mix" with both new and existing accounts through strategic action plans and measured account engagements
* Present monthly and quarterly reviews detailing progress against targets and milestones
* Establish effective communication with appropriate sales and technical managers to ensure proper sensitivity to all sales needs
* Secure internal management and Customer alignment by mapping key account organizations to equal internal roles and create new relationships and strategic partnerships
* Utilize all available internal resources and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales, Technical Support etc
* Keep regular communications with customers on all available channels; Regular travelling in the region is required. (travel percentage: up to 60%)

The Requirements:

* Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in sales of ERP / MIS software solutions to the packaging and printing industries in SEA region
* Track records of success in selling at C-level with the largest, top-tier Packaging companies across SEA
* Ability to conduct a "solution selling" sales style, can align with a structured sales process and ability to deliver results in a relative short timeline (e.g. 18-24 months)
* Ardent in opening new accounts, starting new relationships, prospecting and opening new opportunities to do impact business's efficiencies, revenues and profits
* Strong experience in handling complex sales cycle - prospect identification, qualification, discovering and validating value, proposal and close
* A demonstrated ability to build and execute against a strategic sales plan
* A Self-starter ability and to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong interpersonal skills and work ethics - team-oriented and work with a sense of urgency to get things done quickly but precisely
* Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
