Job Description
Our Client:
Our client is one of the growing ERP software companies globally. They are looking for a QA Engineer to accelerate their product development.
The Responsibilities:
* Be part of the Quality Engineering team and responsible for handling the testing activities for the enterprise software.
* Define detailed test plan and organize review of test deliverables.
* Work closely with product team to analyze requirements.
* Be advocate to customer obsession about product quality.
* Enumerate test cases from requirements.
* Work with development team to understand implementation.
* Execute manual test cases and report defects.
* Prepare daily status report and share the progress with stakeholders.
* Follow established QE process for software evaluation.
* Identify regression test cases and prepare automation plan.
* Automate regression test using in-house automation framework.
* Make in-depth understanding of automation framework being used.
* Analyse automation result and report failure to developer.
* Work with junior engineers and help them with product evaluation.
* Work with senior engineers, managers and follow the instruction.
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree, Masters preferred in Computer Science, Information, Systems, Engineering, or related field
* 2-5 years of relevant QA experience
* Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g. Java, Python)
* Basic knowledge of SQL
* Problem solving skill in isolating the pattern
* Attention to detail in analysing product specification
* Good communication skill to interact with stakeholders located at various locations
* Passion for testing and find bugs in product with error guessing and exploratory testing techniques
* Detailed knowledge on Testing and testing life cycle, Software Quality assurance
* Experience in E2E testing, system testing, integration testing of Web based application
* Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Cucumber, BDD, Junit
* Be able to enjoy working in a start-up, fast-paced and open environment
* Team player and promote openness within team
