Job Description

Our Client:

We are currently working with an exciting start-up company in the F&B supply chain to recruit a Tech Lead. In this role, you will be tasked with the responsibility of driving the company's overall technology strategies. You will be making executive level technological decisions to help create a strong and robust products and platforms for the company. You will be required to help grow and manage a team of both local and offshore engineers.

The Role:

To be successful, you should be a problem solver who has a strong passion and interest in both technology and sustainability. You should be able to put on multiple hats and possess an entrepreneurial spirit to help lead the company to the next level. You should be a leader for your team leading architectural design while staying comfortable to get your hands dirty with coding.

The Responsibilities:

* Lead and oversee the vision, roadmap, and operational excellence of the Technology team

* Develop the technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure business goal alignment

* Plan, design and execute development of enterprise and cloud-based application architecture for all systems

* Build a strong team culture that cultivates and grow junior developers and engineers

* Monitor performance and KPI of both systems and engineers

The Requirements:

* 7 - 10 years of software development experience including architecture planning and design

* Full stack development experience with Vuejs for frontend and Nodejs for backend

* Experience deploying servers in AWS

* Experience working in an Agile environment built around JIRA

* Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

* Comfortable to do hands on coding while managing team (30-40% development)

* Experience working in a start-up is a plus

* Experience managing an offshore team is a plus.
