Our Client:

Our client is one of the MNC membership service providers, looking for an E-Commerce Director to manage their Singapore team located in CBD area. They are looking for candidates who take initiative, able to work fast pace and would like challenging environment.

The Responsibilities:

* Establish and Leads the team in creating a successful, sustainable and scalable e-commerce business
* Analyse data and deliver data-driven strategies to achieve top performance and KPIs
* Survey on market trends for the next country the client wishes to set up at
* Based on consumer insights, create & optimize on-site visuals and content
* Define and manage the site merchandising for categories/subcategories to meet business objectives, including; navigation, product placement, content and photography; creating an optimal user experience
* Analyse new market trends, business opportunities and market segments in global and local landscape
* Staying up to date on new trend and technologies to improve website performance
* Leads in the establishment of necessary infrastructure and technology tools/ systems to support full logistics piece
* Constantly thinking of new ways to drive customer adoption and engagement and keeping a close eye on competitor strategies
* Create a digital strategy and vision
* Analyse & identify possible courses of action to maximise performance across the multiple online customer journeys
* Leverage on various models to contextualise KPIs and provide insights and trends in the context of market's Digital Strategy (Marketing campaign effectiveness, E-Merchandising effectiveness, Conversion analysis, Page flow analysis, Customer segmentation based on behaviour on the website, etc.) by using various analysis techniques such as clustering, graph theory applications, etc
* Adopt prescriptive analysis models to support mid and long-term business decision making
* Build a revenue forecast model to support Ecommerce operations on challenging market's business performance and plans
* Understand user profiles and customer journeys across channels and proactively identify customer needs. Coordinate with various teams to execute content and site enhancements, improving user experience to meet those needs
* Weekly, monthly and management reporting on e-commerce and digital marketing performance

The Requirements:

* Degree in Business or relevant discipline
* Advanced marketing knowledge and specific experience in digital strategy and execution especially on eCommerce performance marketing activities
* At least 5 years+ experience driving user growth or related role. Previous experience in ecommerce industry is highly preferred
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in e-commerce work and e-tailing/ online selling/ merchant management/ online supply chain management respectively
* Familiar with data-driven e-commerce selling, current e-commerce models, e-commerce payment, fulfilment, and logistics
* Good understanding on ecommerce operations
* Possess good written and oral communication skills; as well as excellent people and customer service skills
* IT savvy. Strong computer skills, experience in SEM & SEO, Microsoft (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
* Ability to excel in a matrix, cross-functional environment
* Cross border e-commerce experience is a strong plus
* Must have excellent attention to detail and be flexible and adaptable to change
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent presentation, written, and verbal skills
* Digitally savvy and active in social platforms
* Flexibility and willingness to take ad-hoc tasks when necessary
