Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the most-established manufacturers of food and culinary ingredients in Asia, sold in over 100 countries. They have a long-standing history and continuous plans to expand worldwide.

The Responsibilities:

* To support and meet the financial targets of the company
* To prepare and execute timely the annual development plan for retail and foodservice business as part of company strategy
* To develop, lead and coach the team to meet both short and long range objectives focusing on timely product cycle management, product innovation, customer service and continuous improvement of product cost in both existing and potential product categories
* To ensure all products meet with customer expectations, appropriate regulatory guidelines as well as internal policies
* Review and established guideline and procedures for new product research and development to ensure that it comply with the HQ requirement
* Provide technical supports on production issues, including processing procedures, preparation of ingredients and packaging processes to ensure the final products are safe and meet the required quality
* Provide the technical support and training to Sales, Purchasing and Production/ Manufacturing function

The Requirements:

* University degree in food science, food technology or related academic background
* Minimum 15 years of experience in food industry, preferring in Sauce related manufacturing
* Experience and exposure working in a regional role covering countries in SEA
* Good understanding of diverse work ethics and cultures in the Asia Pacific business environments
* Experience working in matrix organization and managing different stakeholders both internal and external
* Good understanding of consumer markets in SEA
