Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the leading players in the manufacturing of air compressors for Commercial and Industrial use. They have more than five decades of history and serves all major regions worldwide through a network of manufacturing sites and sales offices across Americas, Europe, Asia and EMEA regions.

*Please note that this role will have a remote working arrangement.

The Responsibilities:

* Set up and implement effective sales strategy for Philippine market
* Develop and manage channel partners to promote all product portfolio
* Drive new channel management through proactive search and on-boarding of new partners
* Co-ordinate and organize the sales & marketing activities with distributor to achieve the sales target
* Motivate and coach distributor's sales team
* Establish strong relationships with distributors at all levels of the organization, as well as and end-users directly.
* Implement and provide support in terms of marketing strategy, making full use of market intelligence such as competitors, product profile, product price to enlarge market share and reinforce company market image
* Study the distributor's challenges and develop strategies to support them
* Conduct quarterly review with distributor on their performance and establish goals for them.
* Demonstrate initiative to solve issues; Exhibit a customer-centric mindset by attending to customer complaints and maintaining good client service in terms of quality, delivery, technical support & after sales service, etc
* Monitor and control sales expenses, ensure fulfilment of sales objectives and prompt payment collection
* Do periodic and timely preparation and submission of sales reports
* Always demonstrate a professional image and demeanour

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field
* Minimum of 5 years of working experience in channel sales of mechanical equipment (e.g. rotating equipment). Experience in air compressor sales is a strong advantage
* Experience in channel / distributor management is essential
* Self-driven; Can work independently and remotely
* Excellent communication and presentation skills to communicate with top management based overseas
* Exhibits strong passion in hunting for new business as well as relationship building
* Demonstrated history in achieving sales target
* Able to travel within the country regularly (travel percentage: 50%)
* Experience working in a multinational organization
