Our Client:
Our client is a financial institution providing a variety of services to the real estate, infrastructure, aviation and healthcare industries. Due to business growth requirements, they are looking to bring on a business development manager with an extensive network in the building and construction industry.
The Role:
* Identify new business opportunities in providing financial services to the Construction sector
* Build and maintain good network and connection in the Construction sector
* Define long term organizational strategic goals and build relationship with key stakeholders
* Evaluate potential client through the assessment of credit, market/industry, asset and structural risks.
* Support of financial analysis, risk analysis and recommendations
* Perform due diligence with internal and external resources for asset, legal or other functional assessments
* Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and anticipate customer's needs
* Share industry and market trends internally on a regular basis
* Identify and develop unique selling proposition and differentiator using knowledge of the market and competitors
* Manage the entire sales process from pre to post-sales
The Requirements:
* Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent
* At least 8 years of experience in the Construction Industry
* Experience in business development, business operations, consulting an advantage
* Excellent understanding of the Construction industry and well connected to the key players
* Strong business acumen and result-oriented
* Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
