Job Description
Our Client:
Our client is a provider of cloud computing services and products, including infrastructure and software. Due to aggressive growth plans in the region, they are looking for an electrical engineer with extensive experience in data centre design (brownfield/greenfield) to join their team.
The Responsibilities:
* Work with the various disciplines for project design while focused on the electrical infrastructure for data centre projects (brownfield / greenfield)
* Design and selection of electrical and protection equipment, including HV/MV equipment, UPS, Generators, Switchgear, Transformers etc..
* Ensuring design complies with design codes, international safety standards and operating requirements
* Defining the scope of works and providing support during the project delivery phase
* Working closely with the commissioning team to complete delivery of the project
* Concurrently work on projects within the assigned region
The Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering discipline (Masters or Higher qualifications would be viewed favourably)
* At least 7 years of experience in the data centre design
* Having completed at least 1 full cycle of a data centre project
* Professional Engineer / Chartered Engineer status is highly desired
