Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the leading chemical trading companies globally. They are looking for a Sales Executive to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Managing current chemical business - This includes sales of chemicals mainly in coating, adhesive, lubricant, plastic additives, and other industries. and maintaining rapport with potential and existing clients and to close sales leads
* Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts to achieve overall annual sales targets for the division
* Identifying new business opportunities by identifying targets and evaluating their position in the industry
* Understanding, analysing and remain current on industry trends, market activities and competitors to support development of sales strategies
* Kept well-informed of the organization's products and services as incumbent sources new opportunities both locally and regionally and leverages such knowledge to tailor solutions which meet clients' requirements
* Credit control management
* Customer/Vendor Management
* Stock management
* Ensure compliance to internal and external regulatory procedures
* Supporting HQ R&D projects and be involved in intercompany communications and network
* Ad-hoc assignments when assigned by superior

The Requirements:

* Degree holder and/or diploma holder with relevant work experience in chemical industry
* At least 1-2 years of chemical sales experience
* Fast learner with strong sense of initiative, driven, a team-player and able to work under minimal supervision
* Occasional travelling is required
* Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and proficient in MS Office and SAP
* Candidate must have a driving license and owns a car for this role
