Job Description
Our Client:
Japanese ship operation company is looking for Demurrage Analyst to join their office located in the city area.
The Responsibilities:
* Negotiate with Charterers and ensure quick settlement of Demurrage and other voyage income (interim freight) related to vessels operated in product tanker pool
* Maintain close communication with Charterers, Brokers, Chartering staff and vessel Operators.
* Keep record of outstanding balance and time bar of Demurrage and other voyage income(interim freight) and report to GM, Chartering staff monthly
* Prepare and give presentation in Pool meeting (two to four time a year)
* Monitor Charterers' performance and feedback to GM and Chartering staff
* Report to GM and Chartering staff if there is any dispute with Charterers
* Consult legal advisor if necessary
* Additional assignment: support vessel operation
The Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' relevant working experience in Demurrage settlement and tanker operations
* Good understanding & knowledge of charter party terms and Product tanker operations
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Possess University Degree or relevant Diploma from Polytechnics
