Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the top leading retail companies with Headquarters in Japan. Their pillar brand has 2,250 stores in 25 countries and regions, is the world's third-largest manufacturer and retailer of private-label apparel and their office in Singapore is looking for an E-Commerce - Assistant Manager, IT.

The Responsibilities:

* Our Singapore E-commerce platform/Upcoming WMS system implementation and support Systems: Commerce Platform (Micro service component aggregated)
* Backend process design of EC and Business requirements realization to the systems working with business users.
* Product delivery management support working with 3PL, headquarter members, local business members.
* The preparation sharing the local business events (like a BLACK FRIDAY or the date starting to sell the special item) with global headquarters (GHQ) team to maintain the system operation safety.
* Quick action in case of any production issue, lead up to resolving the issue with the coordination with Business, local IT and GHQ IT.
* Define, evaluate and coordinate on features enhancement and third party integrations to ensure all systems are functioning well.
* Work closely with local and international application vendors. This includes vetting the invoices as per project requirements/scope
* Work closely with regional E-commerce team to provide an ASEAN voice and identity

Backend Process design:

* Gathering/Clarifying business needs and requirements supporting business members.
* Backend process design with business users/HQ members which is aligning with Global platform principle.
* Pursuing thoroughly essential value to build a customer centric platform.
* Order management system understanding including O2O concept.

Product Delivery management:

* Monitor the performances of the OMS and Front end system, resolve production issues, work with vendors on quality of support and continuously improving SLAs.
* Existing E-commerce platform maintenance and maintain system health
* Provide functional guidance and technical support to the Ecommerce team regarding fulfillment and inventory management.
* Support handling upcoming warehouse system projects as required by working with HQ members.
* Manage the technical issues list to resolution, using outsourced development resources. Log code changes, manage testing with vendors before UAT.
* Coordinate and escalate as needed within the cross functional IT organization.
* Provide off hour support during peak business activity period and during peak times for the Digital Teams (i.e. Holidays, special events, store opening)

Documentation:

* Document all projects, processes and technical configurations extensively.
* Maintain the Business Application incidents and change log.
* Ensure communication with other IT areas : SCM, Infrastructure and CRM, application development teams

The Requirements:

* Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related disciplines
* 5 years of progressively increasing responsibilities within the Ecommerce and Digital systems (CRM, ecommerce Platforms, Digital Marketing) space
* Proven Experience in working independently and across boundaries (departments, cross country, with GHQ)
* Project Management experience; especially in E-commerce or Logistics fields
* Japanese language (read/write) to liaise with native Japanese speaking stakeholders in Japan/ Retail Experience is a plus
* IT Skills: Integration of systems between E-commerce/Logistics, Backend Web Development, ERP and Supply Chain Systems, CRM, System and User Acceptance Tests, SDLC
