Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the largest systems integrator with its headquarters in Japan. The client offers services in IT strategy planning, implementation and outsourcing for a broad range of industries and activities.

The Responsibilities:

Managing Projects

* Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques
* Handle detailed planning for application enhancements, new system rollout and efficiency in tracking progress
* Prepare project plan, WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) for individual projects and master plan for multiple and parallel projects
* Track and measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
* Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
* Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
* Effectively use interpersonal skills to motivate and keep the project team aligned to the project goals
* Ensure all the governance policies are complied with, throughout the project cycle
* Ensure successful implementation of project into production

Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting

* Define project scope and objectives, involve all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility
* Work with Team Leaders and Business Users in preparing roadmap for the payment systems.
* Communicate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure that they are updated with the project process
* Review proposed technical solutions for efficiency and compliance to enterprise architecture

The Requirements:

* Minimum a Bachelor's Degree from recognized institution
* Minimum 7 years of IT experience in banking software development
* Strong analytical skills and attention to details
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment
* Able to work independently or teams
* Possess experience in managing projects for Payments / Remittance Systems
* Familiar with Payments (TT, RTGS, LVP (Payroll), Direct Debit, Real-Time Payments, Cheques), and Receivables (Collections) processing across the APAC region
* Knowledge of SDLC and/or Agile Scrum
