Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the top semiconductor manufacturing companies globally. They are expanding the team and looking for a QA Engineer.

The Responsibilities:

* Responsible for managing Product Quality Assurance (70%) and Quality Management System (30%).
* Create and review and/or update quality function work instruction/procedure, FMEA, Control plan when needed.
* Identify and execute the development and implementation of activities/methods to improve IQA, In-process and Final Outgoing inspection activities and develop relevant key quality measurement indicators
* Identify and execute the development and implementation of activities/methods to improve manufacturing process/product quality assurance performance
* Work on process weakness, deep-dive data analysis and work with internal cross-functional teams to drive process improvement and problem solutions through Quality Project Management
* Managing customers in the resolution of customer's quality complaints, root cause analysis and 8D problem-solving discipline
* Provide QA function support new products from NPI to mass production by building a robust process controls and quality assurance
* Participate in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management System audits
* Knowledge and hands-on experience in ISO14001 implementation will add advantage

The Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Manufacturing Technology & Quality Engineering or relevant engineering discipline or equivalent
* Minimum 3-5 years experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering
* Knowledgeble and hands-on experience in managing Product Quality assurance will be an added advantage
* Familiar and knowledgeble QMS (ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949)
* Working knowledge and application in Quality Tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, 8D problem-solving discipline structure
* Experience with data mining, trend analysis, control charting, statistical analysis, and continual improvement
* Knowledgeable in QMS/Manufacturing process auditing skill would be added merits
* Proficiency & Microsoft application such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Excellent communication, planning, and documentation, presentation skills, and report writing
* Self-starter, ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
