About Our Client And The Role:
We are helping one of global asset manager to look for a Business Manager. This role will be supporting the investment team and responsible for the various tasks/projects that need to be implemented for the team.
The Responsibilities:
* Proactively work with the investment teams in driving performance, meeting alpha targets & growing investment capabilities, and oversee general business management functions
* RFP process including fee proposal reviews if and where needed
* Performance fees review & Transaction costs and other data analysis
* New Business requirements including new mandate onboarding and fund restructuring
* Research onboarding & management and renewal of contracts (including negotiation, business justification, cost rationalization)
* Audit reviews and due diligence coordination
* Incident Reporting for incidents caused by PMs and to be involved in new fund launches process where needed
* Process reviews to establish more effective and efficient workflow and process framework
* Issue escalation and follow up with internal support teams on action items
* Support new/change requests and continuous improvements
* Projects - Investment-related projects and analysis work if and where needed
The Requirements:
* Degree holder in related discipline or equivalent
* Able to work well with team members and other teams
* Confident in handling interactions and be able to coordinate with brokers and vendors
* Able to demonstrate taking on projects and initiatives to fruition
* Organized and good at multi-tasking and prioritising
