Our Client:
One of the leading Japanese shipping companies is looking for a Chartering & Operation Assistant to join their dry bulk operation department.
The Responsibilities:
* Working with chartering team for tonnage allocation and marketing, to maximize profitable employment of managed / operated vessels.
* Working with commercial team for fixing and execution of chartering contracts.
* Working with operations team to update vessel ocean and port schedules, solution providing to minimize delays /optimize voyage performance.
* Maintaining close communications with customers, brokers, agents, and relevant 3rd party service providers.
* Any other ad-hoc duties that might be assigned
The Requirements:
* Min 1-2 years experience in dry bulk chartering and operations, or similar shipping field.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Possess University Degree or relevant Diploma from Polytechnics
