Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a distinct real estate services and engineering firm with a strong presence within the healthcare industry. In line with recent staff movement, we are looking for a technically trained and charismatic Facilities Manager to oversee a healthcare site based in the East of Singapore. This role reports to a Senior Manager while being assisted by a team of 60-70 headcount of direct reports. Official workdays will be 5 days per week but there is a need to be on standby if issues arise at site.

The Responsibilities:

As a Facilities Manager, you are responsible in:

* Leading a team of 60-70 technical engineers and executive for the facilities management of a public healthcare facilities
* Suggest value engineering solutions and coordinate with client/ users/ vendor on engineering functional requirements and ensure these objectives are achieved
* Perform scheduled inspections of BMS systems to ensure all maintenance programs are implemented in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines
* Plan and execute on A&A/AEI projects
* Liaise with client on upgrading works
* Oversee and lead a team in facility management for commercial / public / mission-critical facility
* Ensure that the premises and amenities upkeep and maintenance are carried out by the functional team
* Provide feasible solution and coordinate with owners / users, contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure that objectives are achieved
* Lead the implementation and continual improvement of the team's emergency response and business continuity programs
* Ensure contractual KPIs are met at all times
* Oversee the daily, weekly and monthly reports for submission to client
* Responsible for the selection, coaching, performance management and development of the team
* Establish good working relationships with clients to develop trust and confidence
* Establish and maintain high quality service standards
* Prepare tender documents and specifications for various services
* Prepare and certify contractors' payment

The Requirements:

* Graduate with Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised university
* Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience and minimum 5 years of experience at managerial level. Those with more than 12 years of experience will be considered for a Senior Manager position
* Proven experience in facility management in a large-scale facility
* Strong building and M&E knowledge with hands-on experiences
* Interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships with client and stakeholders
* Possess leadership and people management skills to manage a multi-disciplined team
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to remain flexible and organized in a fast-paced environment
* Possess high level of initiative and integrity
* Service oriented mindset
