Our Client:
Our client is one of the largest systems integrator with its headquarters in Japan. The client is a leading provider of end-to-end ICT-based business solutions for the global marketplace.
The Responsibilities:
* Participate in Cloud Offering technical development, to develop industry specific, repeatable propositions, go to market strategies, and Cloud Services description
* Understands the broader business strategy and defines a Cloud architecture to support the business strategy
* Drive cloud architecture roadmap discussion in line with Cloud business strategy
* Evaluating new cloud solutions for integration into Cloud offering
* Determines third party technologies to leverage in customer driven architectures, based upon product knowledge, industry experience, industry standard EA frameworks (i.e. microservices, etc.)
* Develop and retain deep expertise on our partners products and programs, licensing and industry trends
* Domain expert applying broad technical skills, with deep industry knowledge and business acumen, supporting sales and presales team in developing optimized cloud solutions that promote customer's business strategy goals on digital transformation and cloud adoption
* Work with Solution Architect / Presales team to access solution alignment to overall cloud offering blueprint
* Clearly articulate business architecture and technical architecture for hybrid and multi-cloud
* Support in developing proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) with presales and engagement team. Develop estimates and work-breakdown
* Understand the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for enterprise, function as an advocate for internal and customer to recommend the right cloud platform and cloud journey
The Requirements:
* Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines
* Experience working in IaaS space is required, with knowledge of PaaS and Software preferred
* 5+ years of working experience in an IT organization or in a technical pre-sales role
* Knowledge on Hybrid and Multi-Cloud, including on premise and Hyper-scaler Cloud platform (i.e. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or equivalent cloud platforms
* Proficient in creating solution strategies mapped to the business plan
* Knowledge on how and why organizations are adopting cloud as well as competitive landscape and overall cloud ecosystem
* Strong understanding of use cases for cloud
* Experience designing, deploying, and administering Windows and Linux based systems
* Experience in one or more virtualization technologies (KVM, Xen, VMware, Hyper-V)
* Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, LXC
* Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms is essential
* Presentation and negotiation skills are essential
