Our Client:
Our client is a public listed insurance company. In Singapore for more than 50 years with exceptional financial security rating. They are actively looking to hire a Senior Finance Executive to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
* Develop in-depth understanding of financial results and support the analysis of the company's financial performance and identify any anomalies, generating meaningful commentaries to provide actionable insights to management
* Contribute to the preparation and production of risk reports (i.e. ORSA report)
* Preparation and documentation of stress tests and scenario analyses
* Support and ensure timely submission of quarterly group reporting
* Support and ensure timely submission of quarterly and annual regulatory and statutory reports and tax reporting
* Active collaboration with management and both internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors and regulatory authorities
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives of processes and automation projects
* Any other ad-hoc assignments and projects
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Accounting and/ or relevant professional qualifications
* 4-5 years' relevant work experience in the (re)insurance industry
* Good technical competencies of IFRS and of insurance accounting principles
* Good knowledge and experience in reporting under ACRA, MAS, and IRAS regulatory reporting experience in a (re)insurance company in Singapore
* Intermediate/ Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
* Experience working with GL systems is good to have
* Resilient, able to work independently & in a team, and initiative
