Our Client:
Our client is a Global IT Solutions Provider with excellent partnerships with various industries. They are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join their team here in Singapore! This position is a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring smooth implementations and integrations with DevOps practices, monitoring tools, and adherence to ITIL processes.
The Responsibilities
* Design, deploy, and oversee cloud-based solutions primarily utilizing AWS and Azure platforms
* Utilize Kubernetes, Docker, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and Grafana to manage container orchestration, monitor application performance, and visualize metrics
* Apply ITIL methodologies to streamline incident, problem, and change management processes
* Configure and manage Elasticsearch clusters to optimize search functionality
* Deploy Prometheus and Elasticsearch for monitoring infrastructure and applications, creating customized alerts and dashboards
* Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating application deployment and infrastructure setup
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to comprehend project requirements and deliver efficient cloud and DevOps solutions
* Monitor and resolve issues within cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal availability, reliability, and performance
* Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards across cloud environments
* Provide technical support and expertise to development teams regarding cloud, DevOps, and monitoring-related concerns
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Proven track record in cloud operations, specializing in AWS and Azure
* Proficient in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Shell) for automating tasks
* Experience designing and executing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI or Azure DevOps
* Solid understanding of containerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes and Docker
* Knowledgeable about infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
* Familiar with networking concepts and adept at implementing best security practices
* Hands-on experience with deploying Elasticsearch SaaS, Prometheus, and Grafana
* Familiarity with ITIL processes for effective process management, along with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently with diverse teams
* Possession of relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform would be advantageous
