Job Description

Our Client:
Our client is a Japanese manufacturing company specializing in motorcycles and bicycles and is currently seeking a Sales Administrator to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:
• Support the Sales team in closing customers’ Sales Orders by liaising with both suppliers and customers
• Support the Sales team in generating quotations
• Support the Sales team in meeting Sales targets
• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of sales inquiries and orders including preparing quotations
• Provide customer support for orders via phone call and email
• Support the Sales team to establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers
• Prepare weekly & monthly status of sales and ad-hoc reports
• Resolving any sales-related issues with both customer and supplier
• Following up with ongoing deals attentively from the supplier side to the customer side with a focus on details
• Support the sales team in preparing tender documents by collecting the required information and assisting in the overall submission process
• Assist in the tender process – setting up and following on tender project plan, driving tender opportunities, getting commitment, and maximizing tender outcome
• Use all available internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensure all administration is comprehensive and completed on time

Requirements

The Requirements:
• No experience required
• Knowledge of basic sales processes is preferred
• Independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Meticulous with an eye for details
• A good team player who can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office software, in particular, MS Excel
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese to be able to liaise with native Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and preferably proficient in Japanese language to effectively communicate with native Japanese-speaking colleagues
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, resourceful, able to multitask
• Capable of communicating effectively with personnel at various organizational levels
