Our Client:
Our client is a fast-growing genetics services provider with strong reputation in Singapore market is actively looking for a Technical Specialist to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
* Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer consultations
* Ensure timely creation of quotations on SFDC, follow up on purchase order and creation of SIF in CMS/CSS
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers, both remotely and on-site as needed
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services (up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies)
* Work closely with the product team to ensure a thorough understanding of product capabilities and limitations
* Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events as needed
* Provide training and support to sales team members
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. biology, molecular, biotechnology)
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in the local academic research area, a focus on NGS products and services will be a plus
* Fluency in Korean language is essential for this role, as the incumbent will regularly interact with native Korean-speaking customers
* Strong understanding of NGS technology and the life sciences market
* Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them in a clear and concise manner
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
