Our Client:
Our client is a prominent player in the Semiconductor Industry, they are currently seeking a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, the selected candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of the facilities' mechanical systems.
The Responsibilities:
* Enhance operating procedures to ensure optimal system functionality
* Evaluate and recommend necessary spares, consumables, and resources for daily operations
* Monitor utility consumption and collaborate with users on reduction projects
* Formulate, implement, review, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs
* Conduct troubleshooting and repairs to swiftly restore systems to operational status
* Develop and implement effective reporting and tracking systems for monitoring system performance
* Provide training on system operations to colleagues for knowledge sharing and backup
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislation, and codes of practice
* Maintain comprehensive documentation for future reference and review
* Recommend and execute enhancement projects as needed
* Perform root cause analysis and develop action plans to prevent recurrence
* Supervise project activities as required
The Requirements:
* Hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering, Building, or equivalent field
* Possess experience in operating and maintaining exhaust systems, cleanrooms, HVAC, etc.
* Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in wafer fabrication
* Demonstrate robust engineering expertise in mechanical system design
