Our Client:
Our client is a U.S. based multinational corporation in the FMCG sector, boasts a robust global presence and is regionally headquartered in Singapore. They are seeking for a dynamic Head of Procurement to be a part of their team in Singapore to spearhead their procurement operations.
The Responsibilities:
* Regional Procurement Leadership: Acts as the main point of contact for regional commercial and cross-functional heads, understanding regional needs and supporting regional initiatives
* Strategic Partnership: Functions as a strategic procurement partner, participating in regional leadership meetings, ensuring a stable supply chain, and guiding procurement negotiations
* Global Collaboration: Works closely with global procurement leaders to devise strategic plans, leads negotiations for regional procurement, and aligns regional strategies with global initiatives
* Team Direction and Development: Sets objectives and provides leadership to regional procurement teams, fostering talent development and diversity within the procurement function
* Change Management and Accountability: Leads regional change initiatives, aligns stakeholders, implements cost-effective strategies, and serves as a strategic member of the global procurement leadership team
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a prerequisite
* Extensive Experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain: Candidates must possess over 15 years of experience in purchasing and supply chain roles, including 5 years of leadership and team development
* Expertise and Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated expertise in business processes, legal matters, and strategy development, along with a strong track record of leading complex projects and initiatives, are required
