Our Client:
Our client is a prominent leader in the technology solutions industry, is seeking an exceptional individual to join their team as a Senior Manager for Cyber Security & IT Governance. This role presents a unique opportunity to play a pivotal part in the assessment, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide cyber security and IT governance programs. As a key member of the IT leadership team, you will provide expert technical leadership and consultation to drive the organization's cyber security and IT governance initiatives forward.
The Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and review cyber security measures across the organization, including network, system, application, and endpoint security, to ensure operational effectiveness
* Develop and enhance security frameworks, policies, processes, and guidelines to align with industry best practices and organizational goals
* Conduct cyber security risk assessments, penetration tests, and IT controls tests to identify and mitigate security gaps
* Assess, deploy, and maintain cyber security infrastructure to enhance the organization's cyber security posture
* Design, implement, and maintain security incident response and escalation procedures
* Monitor, analyze, and correlate security events to detect and contain cyber security threats
* Enhance cyber security awareness among staff through training and awareness programs
* Review and enhance IT policies, standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure compliance with organizational objectives and industry standards
* Foster a culture of IT risk management, governance, and compliance throughout the organization
* Contribute to IT strategic planning and budgeting initiatives
* Ensure IT vendors fulfill contractual obligations
* Stay abreast of developments in cyber security technologies and standards
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology, or equivalent education
* Hands-on experience with cyber security tools such as Next Generation Firewalls, SASE, Endpoint Protection, Data Loss Protection, and Email Security
* Minimum of 10 years' relevant work experience in cyber security management and security governance
* Strong understanding of security risk management, security governance frameworks and compliance, technical vulnerability management, application security, and security technologies including: system hardening, IDS/IPD, firewall, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing
* Proficiency in cyber security standards
