- Marketing Manager
Our client is the one of global FMCG producing personal care goods – hair, skin and Cosmetics.
We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to:
Their Marketing division has a wide portfolio of beauty brands.
This role will play an active role in the conceptualizing, development, implementation & presentation of the individual brands to grow their market shares through brand building & brand equity enhancement.
This role will provide leadership to the individual marketer for the above brands, while education & coaching forms an integral part of the talent development of the ladies marketing division. The position is expected to succeed the head of the division in near future.
Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Marketing, Branding, Market Research:
• Oversees the full spectrum of Marketing & Branding including 4P's for assigned brands.
• Lead, develop and implement brand building strategy, communication strategy, media planning and promotion strategy through deep understanding of consumers to enhnace brand equity & market share.
• Organise brand / consumer research, analyse consumer insights, proactively respond to changing market trends and consumers demand .
• **Conceive & develop the online marketing strategy with a sustained business model that possesses innovative content which are in line with our brands strategies to increase on-line market share.
• Review all marketing strategic initiatives (product launch campaign, instore marketing concepts, etc.) & make timely recommendations for improvement.
2. Product Launches & Consumer Engagement Events:
• Develop & initiate integrated product launches and brand campaign to achieve marketing KPls.
• Lead the conceptualisation, planning and launch execution to accomplish business objectives.
• Work closely and establish good working partnership with brand partners, agencies and vendors to roll out creative marketing ideas with campaign time line.
• Coordinate & execute with external agencies on promoters , sampling activation, events and logistics arrangements to execute trade activities in the trade, etc.
3. Channel Development & Public Relations:
• Develop & make effective presentations to business partners so as harness strong support & endorsement from business partners to the grow the sales & market share of the brands assigned.
• Develop appropriate & strong presence in distribution channels in collaborations with the sales team & retail buyers so as to achieve business expansion plans and execute store initiatives.
4. Budget Management & Inventory Management:
• Manage A&P budget to ensure that all brands' advertising & promotional expenses are kept within the budget, while achieving the marketing KPI.
• Ensure optimal A&P spending while achieving ROI for each brand.
• Manage optimal inventory level for assigned brands & ensuring low returns & write-offs according to KPI.
• 5. Additional responsibilities:
• Manage & lead the ladies marketing division as well as continued education & coaching of the team members to upgrade their marketing skill & knowledge.
• Provide support to the team in terms of stress management & motivating each individual to achieve their respective KPI. Conduct store visitation regularly so as to gain better knowledge & trend of the market.
• Degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
• Strong written, oral, presentation & inter-personal communications skills.
• 5- years of marketing experience in the FMCG beauty business, with knowledge in social media marketing.
• A strategic thinker who possess a deep interest and knowledge in skincare and cosmetics, and deep understanding of the Singapore competitive beauty landscape
• Passionate about cosmetic and skin care products.
• Highly creative with the ability to think out of the box.
• Ability to work & adapt to the fast paced & rapidly evolving business environment.
• Strong financial skills is essential as management of A&P budget, inventory & evaluations of ROI of marketing.
