Job Description

• Receive written/ verbal enquiries, evaluate customers’ requirements. Producing timely & accurate quotations whilst taking into account margin requirements.
• To be able to size & select the correct equipment for the required duty.
• Flexibility to assist, when necessary, with the sizing, selection and production of quotations for all Power & Energy product lines.
• Fully support and assist the external sales team and regional offices and representatives within Southeast Asia.
• Follow up quotations via telephone and other media in an on-going & timely manner in conjunction with the External Sales team
• Complete technical clarifications either in person, by telephone or electronically
• Timely entry into sales order processing system all orders received ensuring all relevant information is detailed
• Provide engineering and applications support to the external sales team and regional offices and representatives within Southeast Asia.
• Ensure Contracts and Supply Chain department has sufficient information to allow them to supply the customer with the required equipment in the time specified.
• Attend & contribute at sales meetings. Reporting business opportunities & areas of responsibility.
• Undertake sales visits (individually or jointly with sales leads) including regional travel in Southeast Asia as & when required in support of sales/ technical issues.
• Maintain and continually update the Enquiry Data Base System and maintain proposal filing system.
• Update opportunity in CRM System accordingly.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Department Manager or Sales Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field with at least two years of related experience in Power Generation or Oil & Gas Industries.
• Experience within the Rotating Equipment industry with strong technical knowledge.
• Experience with the Oil & Gas, Power markets or Petrochemical.
• Sound commercial knowledge of contract terms and contracts.
• A ‘Team Player’ that has the ability and tenacity to ‘go that extra yard’.
• Demonstrated prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities within demanding time constraints.
• Highly effective communications and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to succeed in a matrix, team environment.
