Our client is an MNC Original Equipment Manufacturer serving the Offshore Oil & Gas and Marine Industries.

Job Description

• Responsible for meeting assigned sales target volumes and objectives in assigned regions (countries) for new build sales.
• Responsible for generating new business in the assigned territories with focus in the Marine, Merchant and Offshore market.
• Responsible for accurately forecast sales by month, quarter and annual. Tracks progress against targets on an ongoing basis and be well positioned for win chance.
• Form strong relationships with ship owners, ship yards, EPC contractors and other relevant stakeholders, influencers, whether they are commercial or technical staff.
• Responsible for leading on negotiation, practising a win-win negotiation approach whilst working within the company’s agreed parameters and procedures for contractual arrangements.
• Responsible for leading New Build Sales Tenders and working closely with product applications team for Technical proposals and clarifications with customers.
• Responsible for managing and working closely with channel partners for all Sales & Business Development related activities within the assigned territories.
• Work closely with Aftersales Team to create opportunities for developing Spares & Service proposition for products and to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
• Ensure that customer enquiries are responded to in a prompt and professional manner.
• Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet the company’s standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of regional sales experience within Marine, Offshore and Oil & Gas business environment.
• Knowledge of Centrifugal Pumps and Rotating Equipment.
• Good communication skills to make competent written and verbal presentations of all products to customers and agents by all communication methods.
• Proven track record and evidence of developing good customer relationships and managing key contracts in major strategic accounts.
• Able to carry out technical discussion and commercial negotiation with customers.
• Strong negotiation skills and use of sales analytics.
• Customer focused, good influencing skills and problem solver.
• Proficient in MS Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint and Salesforce.
• Able to travel on short notice.
