Our client is an MNC manufacturer of mechanical equipment used within industrial and energy industries.
· Receive written/verbal enquires, evaluate customers' requirements. Producing timely & accurate quotations whilst taking into account margin requirements.
· To be able to size & select the correct equipment for the required duty.
· Flexibility to assist, when necessary, with the sizing, selection and production of quotations for Inter department when necessary.
· Fully support and assist the external sales team and regional offices and representatives.
· Follow up quotations via telephone and other media in an on-going & timely manner in conjunction with the External Sales team.
· Complete technical clarifications either in person, by telephone or electronically.
· Enter on the sales order processing system all orders received ensuring all relevant information is detailed.
· Provide engineering and application support to the external sales team and regional offices and representatives.
· Ensure contracts department has sufficient information to allow them to supply the customer with the required equipment in the time specified.
· Attend & contribute at sales meetings, reporting business opportunities & areas of responsibility.
· Undertake sales visits (singly or jointly with sales leads) including regional travel as & when required in support of sales / technical issues.
· Maintain and continually update the Enquiry Data Base System and maintain proposal filing system
· Update opportunity in Sales Logix CRM / Microsoft Dynamics accordingly.
· Carry out other duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager.
BS Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering or similar field. 2 to 3 years related experience will be advantageous.
· Good knowledge of industrial mixers application, sizing and selection process plus associated instrumentation or ancillary equipment, the suitability of materials of construction
· General knowledge of fluid mechanical engineering concepts particularly relating to flow, pressure, viscosity, compressibility, material properties.
· Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable and well organized with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Basic PC skills, including experience using MS Word, Excel or equivalent, PowerPoint.
· Problem solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to read blue prints and customer specifications.
· Sound commercial knowledge of contract terms and conditions.

· Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to succeed in a matrix, team environment.
