Job Description
* Responsible to manage the legal requirements of the organization within APAC region. This includes providing expertise on legal policies, risk and liability, claim management, etc.
* Review contracts and advices stakeholders to ensure the business is exposed to moderate levels of legal risks, liabilities and costs.
-Involved in contract negotiations with clients and suppliers.
-Take part in establishing, modelling, liquidating, gathering, selling in an outside legal procedeengs of corporations.
* Ensures good judicial information service.
-Represents organization in judicial matters.
-Safeguard both domestice and foreign intellectual property rights of the company.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Law.
- 6 - 8 years of relevant working experience as inhouse Legal Counsel / private practice in an international setting.
- Experience working within an international energy, construction or related industrial services is an advantage.
- Hands-on drafting, reviwing, negotiating international commercial contracts, as well as corporate secretarial matters.
-Demonstrates business acumen, a dynamic personality, excellent presentation and communication skills, and is able to operate in a multinational and multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Flexible in adhering to work schedules as this role involves communicating closely with remote teams.
