Job Description
Overview:
RGF has been approached by a recognized Ship management organization to source for an experience Technical Superintendent to join their team in Singapore.
The Role:
* You will oversee the technical management of the vessels assigned to you, ensuring the vessels are technically operational and managed within the planned requirements
* You will oversee daily maintenance and repair operations, scheduling and preparing vessels for surveys, inspections and dockings
* You will manage operational budget and expenditure
* You will ensure that the vessels' technical certificates are properly documented and maintained
* You will work closely with the HSEQ team to ensure proper implementation of HSEQ system and procedures
The Requirements:
* Sailing experience as a Chief Engineer is a must
* You must have relevant Superintendent experience managing tankers
* Extensive experience in planning and overseeing dry docking for tankers would be preferred
* COC 1 or 2 is a must
