Job Description

The position takes ownership in driving business development & retaining existing business for the assigned portfolio of the customers. This position is accountable for working across functional organizational lines and geographies in the expansion of targeted accounts in alignment with Regional Commercial Strategy. Responsible for developing the regional freight forwarding, contract logistics and supply chain solutions as agreed for the assigned customer portfolio. The role is also accountable for developing business solutions that improve our customer's supply chain performance and reduces costs.



* Support drive regional business development strategy by identifying business opportunities, foster market capabilities, establish and grow customer relationships with agreed target accounts.
* Responsibility for growth and retention targets (gross revenue & volume) of assigned regional business development accounts in Asia Pacific.
* Ensure close communication and alignment on strategy, target development and achievement with APAC countries & other stakeholders.
* Facilitate customer-focused collaboration with traffic teams, P&L owners and Business Development / Route Development teams
* Maintain, improve and manage Key Account, KPI and measurement processes.
* Foster mentoring, coaching and motivating country & product stake holders on accounts / opportunities.

* Business Growth Targets for New and Existing Business as agreed measured in:
* Actual New Business (Net Revenue)
* Actual Renewal Business (Net Revenue)
* Secured New Business (annualized Net Revenue)
* Maintained Renewal Business (annualized Net revenue)

The Successful Applicant

We invite a highly experienced Supply Chain Business Development professional with an eye for driving regional business. We are seeking a highly motivated and confident team driving individual to raise the bar of productivity and consistency. To be successful you must come with:



* 10+ years of senior level international supply chain Sales Management and/or logistics management experience in the Asia Pacific.
* Strong cross-cultural experience and capabilities, especially with Asian cultures.
* Strong, working knowledge operations background - Freight Forwarding, 3PL operations, and technology
* Excellent understanding of integrated supply chain best practices, information systems and tools; including financial implications.
* Excellent project management and strategic planning skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across functional lines.
* Demonstrated success record in managing across technical, culture and language group (Impact without Authority)
* Experienced, confident, direct interpersonal skills - strong character who provides direction and thrives in a challenging and fast paced environment.
* High levels of drive for results, solution based attitude, motivational tactics, and use of performance management - goal orientated.
* Able to relate, connect, and work with strong and tough management for driving growth.
* Methodical and logical approach to problem solving - seeks, identifies and resolves hidden problems, continuous improvement mindset.
