Job Description

This role will be responsible mainly in maintaining key accounts, and assisting in bringing new accounts for the company. Your main responsibility is to maintain and add value to the regional freight forwarding, contract logistics and supply chain solutions. This role is also accountable for developing business solutions that improve our customer's supply chain performance and reduces costs. This role reports to the Asia Pacific Director and will work across functional organizational lines and geographies.

* Maintaining positive and collaborative partnership between existing key clients and company

* Managing operational bottlenecks and key issues with key clients swiftly, catering to their complaints with consultative approach

* Comprehending the needs and wants of the key clients, and provide solutions on the same

* Ability to adapt to new requests and changes of the clients

* Maintaining open communication channels between company and the key clients

* Managing strategic initiatives to improve service to clients

* Conducting open collaboration and negotiation with key clients to establish performance key delivery milestones and timeline.

* Establishing and managing the approved internal budget for the operation.

* Collaborating with various internal stakeholders to support key client account in ensuring top notch performance and quality of service

* Partnering with client to understand their problems by providing added value services or up-selling

* Managing periodic reports on timeline progress, achievements, and rewards with all related parties

* Assisting the Business Development team as when needed in bringing new clients

Requirements

We invite an experienced key account manager professional with exposure in maintaining regional clients. We are seeking a highly motivated and confident team driving individual to raise the bar of productivity and consistency. To be successful you must come with:

*3+ years of key account manager experience in the Asia Pacific.
*Strong cross-cultural experience and capabilities, especially with Asian cultures.
*Strong, working knowledge operations background - Freight Forwarding, 3PL operations, and technology
*Excellent understanding of integrated supply chain best practices, information systems and tools; including financial implications.
*Experienced, confident, direct interpersonal skills - strong character who provides direction and thrives in a challenging and fast paced environment.
*High levels of drive for results, solution based attitude, motivational tactics, and use of performance management - goal orientated.
*Able to relate, connect, and work with strong and tough management for driving growth.
*Methodical and logical approach to problem solving - seeks, identifies and resolves hidden problems, continuous improvement mindset.
