Our client, an international organization that provides shipping services is on the lookout for an experience Senior HSSE Executive to join their team here in Singapore.

Job Description

Due to an increase in project opportunities in the Asia region have led to the need to expand their department in Singapore. The Senior HSSE Executive manages the end-to-end daily Health, Safety, Security and Environment aspect.

Job description:

* Maintain and update database information on vessels monthly Injuries (LTIF & TRCF), Safety and Security related incidents and Near Miss submission by vessel.
* Assist in updating and preparing HSSE related reporting requirement to the management.
* Maintain a running status of all the database information from the fleet and office on monthly basis.
* To assist in post injuries and incidents reporting to higher management level. Monitoring of Board of Investigation (BOI) Status of Implementation (SOO and assist superintendent in the Close out of Conformance and Preventive actions items proposed in BOI. Compiling Price of Non, Conformance (PONC) for Injuries and Incidents.
* To assist in reporting the incident to relevant authorities (flag) including to parent company
* To assist i.e to work closely with vessel's team and other relevant departments in ensuring closure of incidents are managed including effective closure of corrective actions are documented in a proper manner.
* To assist in planning and manage ship shore drills, collating and compiling all data post drills and monitor the follow up action require.
* To assist in maintaining and updating the records related to Safety & Security for smooth office operations.
* To assist in managing all management reporting obligation Board and assisting in providing regular trending and analysis of safety / security / environmental performance and periodic management reporting.
* Assist with accident/incident investigations, tracking and analysing data to help prevent reoccurrence of accidents/incidents.
* Ensure relevant Legal and Safety requirements from authorities are monitored and complied across various Business Unit.

* Ensure OSHA compliance at the Offices
* Ensure adherence to Legal requirements applicable to fleet
* Upkeep of Legal Register
* Monitor and introduce relevant industry best practices (Safety and Quality)

* Take responsibility for Corporate HSSE activites globally as per Assurance Plan and HSSE plan.

Requirements

*Any relevant Degree
*Must have working experience in the Shipping industry
*1-5 years of working experience in the Health, Safety and Environment industry
