* Location: West
* 1 year contract (renewable/conversion)
The Responsibilities:
* Conceptualize original and user-friendly designs in an agile work environment
* Collaborate with product managers to translate high-level requirements into prototypes and/or high-fidelity comps
* Provide visual layout design direction, as well as expected user interaction, to front-end developers independent of final digital platform selected for user interface application
* Create a style guide to maintain visual consistency across all digital products in APAC and facilitate rapid implementation of your designs
* Identify user personas and propose designs that effectively serve their needs
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, UI Design, Multimedia or similar field
* Ideally 5 to 7 years proven UI/UX experience working successfully with product and engineering teams
* Strong knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with customers, along with cross-functional teams including developer and product management
* Expertise in following W3C standards, and communicating using its common taxonomy
* Competency in UI and prototyping tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, Invision, and XD
* Technical acumen with web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and browser capabilities across platforms
* Ability to present and articulate design decisions based on your knowledge of visual design, interaction patterns, best practices and design trends
* Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, etc.) Seasoned in Agile development processes
* A passion for the user's perspective and a proven ability to create designs anchored in user research
* Solid analytical, creative and visual thinker with excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual
* Strong attention to detail and delivery deadlines
* A portfolio featuring examples of interaction design work
