Our Client:
Our client is one of the leading MNC in the Semiconductor manufacturing sector. They are looking for a Senior Finance Specialist to join their team in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
* Support the senor finance manager on financial control, financial reporting, tax and regulatory matters
* Ensure accounting and reporting functions are in compliance with accounting standards, regulatory and internal policies, procedures and guidelines
* Manage month end closing and financial reporting
* In charge of GL and fixed assets
* Prepare quarterly consolidation package
* Liaise with external auditors and oversee the year-end audit process
* Prepare and review audit schedules as well as full set of statutory financial statements
* Prepare and submit withholding tax and quarterly GST filing
* Participate in system implementation projects
* Oversight of the accounts payable process and approval of payments
* Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned
The Requirements:
* Degree in Accountancy or possess ACCA or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar capacity/role including at least 1 year in team management
* Audit and systems implementation experience will be an advantage
* Good knowledge of Singapore FRS, GST rules and internal controls
* Hands-on, detailed and proactive with ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines
* Knowledge of Oracle EBS and SAP FICO systems will be an advantage
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel
