Our Client:
Our client is a global market leader in the field of Industrial Automation & Controls. Their products have been providing their customers in the Power / Water / Chemical / Petrochemical / O&G markets with a complete suite of products to enable them to improve operational efficiency of their businesses and are at the forefront of innovation able to offer cutting edge technology & solutions to meet the current & future needs of their business.
We are currently working with them to identify the best talent in the market place to manage their SEA Business. As Operations Manager you will have full P&L responsibility for an expanding BU currently generating ~$150m revenues with expected growth taking revenues over the $200m mark by the end of 2021. Managing an established & high functioning team you will have oversight of all Operational functions (inc Strategy, Operational Excellence, Quality, Project Execution, Supply Chain & Engineering) and will work closely with Sales & Manufacturing teams to ensure timely & profitable delivery of Projects.
The Responsibilities:
* Responsible for management & development of the team, able to train & mentor senior management/Dept Heads review organizational structures & effectiveness
* You will be required to develop & implement customer-focused Operations strategy for your BU in line with the overall business and functional strategy & goals
* A key responsibility will be to ensure project execution from order to installation, putting in place effective SOP processes to ensure successful delivery of Projects
* Accountable to ensure Operational excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory & Productivity
* You will ensure Integrated Project Management system in place for Project Execution, responsible for on-time /on-budget project execution
* You will also be expected to dive a culture of Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement business processes and procedures
* Internal stakeholder management will encompass collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing team to ensure adequate resources in place to ensure timely delivery of products for installation.
The Requirements:
* Relevant Degree in engineering essential + additional qualification in Business Management would be an added advantage
* Minimum 20 years engineering and operations experience, ideally with circa 10-12 years in senior management role
* Previous Industrial Automation experience in Process Industries covering Oil & Gas, Power Utilities, Water, Chemical & Petrochemical industry
* Must have extensive current Asia market experience
