Our Client:
Our client is one of the top leading manufacturing companies with its headquarters in Japan. Their Singapore office is looking for a New Business development executive.
The Responsibilities:
* To work closely with internal and operational teams to develop and propose business solutions for clients
* To participate in and contribute to the production of proposals, tenders, pre-qualifications and quotes
* Research new market and various industries
* Study technologies/solutions of client's group and partners
* New business, new service planning, implementation support
* Product/service development New business/new service planning and related contract
* Strategy formulation, business plan formulation
* Survey of prospective clients, partnering (negotiation with partners), test sales (sales), marketing
* Product/service development/operation support
* To know the client's needs and work with Engineer team
* Any other ad hoc duties
The Requirements:
* Have experience in negotiations and bidding with government agencies
* Good communication skill
* Have an understanding of Japanese culture
* Preferably communication skills in basic oral Japanese to liaise with Japanese speaking clients and corporates
* Experience in the healthcare, Inspection buildings and mobility/port control industries is an advantage
