Job Description
Our Client:
Our client is one of the top leading integrated engineering companies (HQ in Japan). Undertake dedicated and turnkey projects in building services, such as building management, air-conditioning, electrical and lighting, fire and security and ventilation systems. Their Singapore office is looking for a Purchasing Officer.
The Responsibilities:
* Responsible for preparation and process of the purchase orders and monitoring delivery for materials purchase
* Work closely with internal department for quotations in terms of products and services
* Handle day to day purchasing operation, source for the best costs, quality and services with suppliers, sub-contractors and / or service providers
* Request quotation from suppliers
* Timely generate and Issuance of purchase order to suppliers, sub-contractors and registration of new vendors.
* Responsible for price negotiation and planning of delivery schedule in all purchasing matters
* Liaise and follow up on all procurement related matters
* Ensure compliance and quality standards, procurement policies and procedures
* Matching of delivery order, tax invoice against purchase orders
* Input quotation, purchase order, purchase invoice, sales order, sales invoice, payment and receipt information via the "Purchase & Sales System"
* Maintain filing system, document control as well as purchase records
* Prepare tender document for submission
* Meticulous handling of queries and requests from superiors and colleagues
* Perform any other ad-hoc duties when assigned
The Requirements:
* 1-2 years Purchasing experience
