Our Client:
Our client, an established video games company is currently seeking for an Accountant, Controlling to join the team.
The Responsibilities:
Being part of the finance controlling team, you will be responsible in supporting all the statutory reporting in the region. You will manage the overall 4 aspects of work; close process, statutory compliance, business support and project management. This is not limited to:
* Support US GAAP reporting and statutory compliance for the Group entities
* Prepare reconciliation of US GAAP to local statutory financial statements
* Responsible in managing close process and all related financial reporting with US GAAP
* Preparation of monthly balance sheet, reconciliations, journal entries and manage inter-company transactions
* Manage overall control environment and its effectiveness
* Assist in timely filing of the company's statutory financial statements, VAT and income tax returns
* Assist in documenting statutory and US GAAP accounting positions and prepare memos/ whitepapers
* Supervision of local and US external auditors, as well as support for other statutory and tax audit matters
* Work closely with internal stakeholders such as shared services, corporate, accounting team and overseas counterparts
* Any other ad hoc accounting duties
The Requirements:
* Bachelor Degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
* CPA / CA qualified
* Strong knowledge in US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002
* Experience with Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management will be an advantage
* Ability to work in fast-paced environment and to remain calm and perform under pressure
* Meticulous with keen attention to details and good organisational skills
* Possess initiative and the drive to deliver excellence consistently, team player
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
