Job Description

The main focus of this role is to identify potential customers for new businesses, developing and maintaining relationships in the process. Identify potential customers, and develop new businesses in assigned verticals and markets. Manage and grow existing accounts, maintain a healthy pipeline to ensure constant revenue generation. Formulate and implement tactical sales and marketing plans to support short-term, mid-term and long-term business growth. Responsible for contracts renewal, including preparation and presentation of quotation to customers. Improve customer loyalty by constantly identifying value-add opportunities, collaborate with internal departments to consistently meet customers’ requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ of relevant functional experience in business development ideally in a freight forwarding/contract logistics environment.
• Excellent commercial and entrepreneurial flair is critical to the success of this role.
• Strong product knowledge in Ocean/Air/Warehousing/Customs.
• Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen with good presentation skills.
