About Our Client And The Role:

We are representing a premier IT services firm in Singapore to look for a Project Facilities Engineer. The shortlisted candidate will be employed on 1 year contract before consideration of a permanent based role. This role will cover multiple commercial building within Singapore and it will report to the Facilities Manager/ Senior Manager within Singapore office. The role's distribution will involve 80% project planning and 20% operations management.

The Role:

As a Project Facilities Engineer , your responsibilities include:

* Providing guidance and strategic management of technical personnel and engineers to ensure zero downtime on the assigned site
* Propose, plan and execute A&A projects to improve the hard services component of the commercial properties
* Work closely with project management division to further support the user's requirement for power and cooling intake
* Management of power source and chillers system
* Prepare scheduling considering all project variables, manage cash flows, prepare project progress reports and attend all meetings
* Prepare proposal, tender, quotation etc. for procurement of services and goods
* Check and ensure works are being carried out according to plan and contracts in a timely manner
* Support the effective planning and management of activities of outsourced service partners, providing supervision and monitoring their performance
* Conduct regular inspections for potential safety hazards and unsafe conditions, initiate corrective measures to maintain a secure, safe and healthy work environment (the inspections should include after office hours if need be)
* Attend to all emergency/crisis and assist in emergency management and contingency planning
* Develop and implement policies, protocol and procedures to maintain full compliance with the prevailing legislative acts and regulatory requirements
* Manage and oversee operations and the implementation and maintenance of internal systems to ensure protocol are followed and met
* Assist in internal and external audits

The Requirements:

To qualify for the application of Project Facilities Engineer, you must have:

* Minimum recognized Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services / Facilities Management or Electrical Engineering
* Familiar with the RCA of UPS, CRAC, GENSET and chillers system.
* Must possess strong background drafting of recommendation reports to senior stakeholder for A&A and AEI project, vendor's contract management, and compliance follow up with building authorities
* Minimum 5 years' experience in facilities management for mission critical site like Data Centre. More senior position will be offered to those who have more than 7 years of work experience
* Proficient in usage Microsoft Office software for presentation and updating of progression report
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Willing to commit to a 24hrs standby role
* Able to work on a fastpaced environment and meticulous at work
