Job Description
Our Client:
This is a 3 month contract role with one of our client, a leading Multinational Tech company which specializes in internet -related services and products.
The Responsibilities:
In this role you will provide support for the ongoing operations in our data centres. - They will replace parts, run cable, populate and depopulate racks, swap tapes and other various manual operations related tasks. Will work as a member of a larger, coordinated team.
* Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from work stations and other areas
* Assemble/disassemble and populate/depopulate equipment rack
* Disassemble broken or failed hardware equipment and replace parts per defined process using hand and/or power tools
* Run/install ethernet and fibre optic cable per defined process
* Maintain cleanliness of working environment
* Operate barcode scanners and associated software tools
The Requirement:
* Must possess a positive attitude and be able to work well within a team oriented environment
* Ability to lift/move light to heavy equipment and able to exert physically over extended periods of time
* Should be able to commit to the 3 months contract timeline
